I am interested in purchasing just Reading Works. Why do you suggest one of the four packages?

I already own The Writing Road To Reading. I don't want two copies. Does that mean I can't take advantage of the package discount?

Q:   I am interested in purchasing just Reading Works. Why do you suggest one of the four packages?

A:   Reading Works is not a stand alone manual. It was written with the intention of it being just our workshop syllabus with expanded take home notes. As it walks you through the delivery of the teaching method, it implements other materials which were actually developed first. Reading Works pulls it all together and coordinates them. Reading Works is made available as part of one of four packages, the smallest of which we consider to be only the basic materials needed to successfully teach using Reading Works. We tell you this up front because we want to prevent the confusion and frustration that you would encounter by attempting to follow the instructions in Reading Works with out the materials necessary to do so. We used to sell RW alone, but no longer have the conscience to do so without being very clear about what materials are required for its implementation.

Q:   I already own The Writing Road To Reading. I don't want two copies. Does that mean I can't take advantage of the package discount?

A:   We are well aware that many of you who are looking for the help Reading Works provides already own the WRTR text. For that reason, we routinely leave the WRTR out and substitute another item in the packages. The most common substitution is the Phonogram Practice CD.
